Our Story
Beach Socials was never part of the plan. For years, our family was the three of us: Brian, Max, and our son, Noah. After a long journey to grow our family, welcoming Ella made her first birthday feel like a milestone worthy of celebrating in a way we'd never forget.
Since Ella absolutely loves the beach, we decided to throw her the ultimate beach birthday. Our vision was simple:
"What if Barbie opened a beach club in Mykonos?"
That playful vision became the spark behind Beach Socials.
We began ordering beautiful umbrellas, lounge chairs, pillows, tables, fabric, pink pampas grass... one piece after another until our garage looked more like a boutique beach furniture distribution center.
The morning of the party, as we carried everything across the sand and started styling the space, something unexpected happened. People kept stopping.
"Are you a business... Can I book this for my daughter's birthday... Do you have a website?"
We laughed because the honest answer was...no, this was just for our baby.
But as the day went on, we couldn't stop thinking about those conversations. Maybe we weren't the only ones dreaming of a beautiful, effortless beach experience. And after hauling every chair, umbrella, table, and basket across the sand ourselves, we realized something else: maybe we weren’t the only ones wishing someone could do all of that work for us.
People didn’t just want a beautiful beach gathering. They wanted to arrive to one, fully present and ready to enjoy the people they came to celebrate.
Over the next several months, that "little" birthday party turned into something much bigger. We refined the concept, expanded our inventory, tested layouts, learned the logistics, and built Beach Socials from the ground up.
Today, we're honored to help families celebrate birthdays, couples celebrate milestones, friends gather for sunset socials, and visitors experience Southern California's coastline in a way they never have before. We only create spaces that we ourselves would feel comfortable and excited arriving to and enjoying with our own friends and family. We care about the thoughtful details and making sure that the experience is luxurious, enjoyable, and memorable.
Because Beach Socials has never really been about pillows or umbrellas.
It's about creating the kind of moments that become part of your family's story.
Just like Ella's first birthday became part of ours.
